How to Apply / Renew e-Cert

A. New e-Cert Application
  New e-Cert applicant must complete and submit the application form and present the required documents with appropriate application fees as described in the e-Cert Certification Practice Statement ("CPS").
 
  1. e-Cert (Personal) certificate
  2. e-Cert (Organisational) certificate
  3. e-Cert (Encipherment) certificate
  4. e-Cert (Server) certificate
  5. e-Cert (Organisational Role) certificate
  6. Bank-Cert (Personal) certificate
  7. Bank-Cert (Corporate) certificate
  8. Bank-Cert (Bank) certificate
  9. g-Cert (Individual) certificate
  10. g-Cert (Functional Unit) certificate
  11. iAM Smart-Cert certificate

B. Renewal of e-Cert
  We will notify Subscribers to renew their certificates prior to the expiry of the certificates' subscription / validity period. The certificates can be renewed before expiry of their subscription / validity period at the request of the Subscriber and the discretion of Hongkong Post. Hongkong Post will not perform renewal of expired, suspended or revoked certificates. To renew e-Cert, the subscriber is required to submit a completed and signed e-Cert renewal application form.

  • The signature(s) and organisation's chop on the above renewal form must be the same as shown on the original application form.
